Best CLEP Study Resources in 2026
There are dozens of CLEP prep resources available. Most aren't worth your time. Here are the ones that actually help you pass.
Free Resources
Modern States (modernstates.org) Free online courses for every CLEP exam. They'll even pay your exam fee if you complete their course. The content is solid but passive — lots of video lectures.
College Board CLEP Practice The official source offers sample questions for each exam. Limited quantity, but the questions are authentic CLEP style.
Khan Academy Great for math-heavy CLEP exams (Algebra, Calculus, Precalculus). Not CLEP-specific, but the content aligns well.
